Where to Stay

There are a number of hotels and motels in Omaha from super luxury to budget. We have rooms at the venue, which are a great and budget friendly option. No pool, but we will have some activities planned. If choosing a hotel, you'll probably get the best rates using a travel site like Kayak or Travelocity, but I've tried to include the hotels listed on this page for their proximity to sights and activities as the venue is not located in a hotel dense area of town.

The ARCC

One of the benefits of having your wedding at a retreat center is that we have rooms available at the ARCC for the wedding weekend. The rooms are $28 per person, per night. (Breakfast is included.) This option is available for the weekend with arrival as early as Thursday 25 April. If you'd like to go this route, there will be a section on the RSVP form where you can let us know you'll be staying at the ARCC and your planned arrival and we'll pass your information on to the staff. Downtown/Old Market

Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown

Rooms from $110. Located in North Downtown, near the TD Ameritrade ballpark and Centurylink Center. This area of town is freshly redeveloped and includes the non-profit FilmStreams Cinema, the HotShops Art Center, Lewis & Clark Landing and several restaurants and bars (many sports themed because of the ballpark.) Shopping includes hipper offerings like Urban Outfitters and American Aprarel. It's a bit of a walk to the Old Market from here, but it's do-able. Just want to point out that NoDo and the Old Market are not the same area and not as close as visitor info makes it seem, which is noticable if the weather is not cooperating and you are walking.

Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown/Old Market

Rooms from $209.(Trip Advisor claims it's from $109, I didn't get those prices with a rate search however) Located at the northeast edge of the Old Market. The Old Market offers a variety of great restaurants and bars, including fine dining, Quirky and independent shopping, and horse-drawn carriage rides and buskers. It's also close to the Durham Museum, Bemis Art Center, and several other downtown galleries.

The Magnolia Hotel

Rooms from $165. Located just a couple blocks west of the Old Market. If you're looking for something with more character than a major chain hotel. Midtown Crossing and Aksarben Village

Rooms from $119. Midtown Crossing is a new urban redevelopment project. The area features some great dining option and bars. Crescent Moon is notable for it's great selection of craft beers on tap. The neighbourhood surrounding this area can be a little sketchy however. Especially at night. Courtyard Omaha Aksarben Village

Rooms form $99. Aksarben Village is a newly developed area. Close to the University. The area has a movie theatre, Jones Brothers Cupcakes, a park and bike rental. The neighbourhood is also nice and pretty quiet for being around so many students. Rooms from $111. Pretty New hotel, in what is actually closer to the middle of Omaha, despite the midtown neighbourhood being at 35th.
